  How to have peace,

  know joy while living

FORWARD

Dear One:

The world’s idea concerning happiness through marriage is distorted and very often leads to depression. Many follow the notion and are totally convinced that if they can acquire all they could ever hope for in marriage, then this is all they will ever need in this life to make them happy. They are sadly mistaken. Happiness through anything the world has to offer is a temporary happiness. Though there are marriages that are wonderfully blessed in many ways, the deeper need – for the heart to be filled with peace, to be truly happy or satisfied – can still be left wanting.

It is my hope and desire that the Lord, through the power of His Holy Spirit and through the power of His perfect Word, will use the contents of this booklet to embrace your heart and lead you to the kind of joy and lasting happiness that cannot be gained through anything this world has to offer.

I am going to suggest to you six extremely important life-changing habits that we all must form in order to serve the Lord more faithfully in whatever we do and in order to grow more spiritually, whomever we are, so that God may use us and bless us wherever we go.

These six Christ-centered habits will help each one of us to stay a happy bride. Habits become part of our character, whether they are good or bad. It is vitally important to work on forming good edifying ones. Changing bad habits into good ones takes hard work, determination, and time. If we have any habits that we know are bad ones, habits that are damaging, especially habits that most people may not see, that tear down those we live with, we must confess them to God and ask Him to help us form habits that will please Him.

“Follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” II Timothy 2:22

Love in Christ,

Jo Ann
