The Father

The Father

He clothed them in the garden,
With tenderness from above.
And the Father cares for me,
He covers me with His love!

He led the Hebrew children.
His great mercy set them free.
And the Father broke my bonds
Of sin, thru grace on Calvary!

He calmed the storm, wind and waves.
Quiet strength from God’s own hand;
Now the Father shelters me
His peace girds my heart to stand!

This child is safe within His palm,
And until the end of time,
My Father gently whispers,
I am His and He is mine!
