Happiness Is

Happiness is meeting Christ,
And to know just why He came –
A changed life to shine for Him,
Repented of sin and shame.

Happiness is telling those
Who are lost, God’s loving plan –
A glad heart delighting so
In God’s grace for helpless man!

Happiness is to walk with Him,
For He guides each step I take –
A soul secure, trusting Christ
Never to leave nor forsake.

Happiness is to rest in God,
Who promised to see me thru –
No need to fear or to fret,
Who made the morning dew?

I’m sheltered within His palm
Oh, what joy, God loves me so!
Happiness is knowing Christ
And serving Him here below!
